Low Power Peripheral Controller
EmBlox™ Chip 10092 is a low power peripheral controller, based on Actel
ProAsic 3 FPGA. This chip is functionally and register compatible to ST Micro's
ZPSD511 standard chip and includes custom logic to replace the obsolete ST
Micro chip by FPGA based EmBlox™ Chip, thereby increasing the life-period
of customer's industrial product.
For power sensitive applications, it is possible to optimize logic resources
in an FPGA based chip offering, thereby reducing the overall power consumption.
EmBlox™ Chip 10092 consumes under 50mW power in active mode, that is
less than the original ZPSD511 Chip's power consumption on the same board.
